Galindo Creek in Concord is Just About Bone Dry

Galindo Creek which meanders through Concord and through Markham Nature Park is just about Bone dry. We have lived across the street from the Creek for the past 35 years and have never seen it like it now appears. You can really see what it looks like at Markham Nature Park - go take a look. The Creek has been supplying water for all manner of birds, and wild animals that live along it - Red tailed Hawks, Ducks, Egrets, Raccoons, Squirrels, Possums, fish, pollywogs, snakes you name it... The impact on these precious wildlife has been severe. What can be done about it. I know the rainy season is coming it is probably too late to do much good. Has anyone else noticed this travesty of nature and or neglect.

The city doesn't seem to know much about it and the water department wont divert any water to it from the canal. No one seems to be in charge of Galindo Creek. Please forward your concerns to the Mayor and members of the City Council for starters - they would surely know what to do about this.
